Pat and Dick were married after the war and were married for 57 years. Dick, although severely injured in Germany, carried a beautiful picture of Pat in his helmet during World War II and managed to bring it home safely. Pat's treasured pleasure in life was going to her beloved beach house at Jamaica Beach. She and Dick enjoyed many, many weekends with family members, college students and other friends.
