Patricia Ann Harvey

Patricia "Miss Pat" Harvey, 75, of Houston, TX, died on Thursday, November 10, 2016. She was born Patricia Ann Gurley on January 1, 1941, in Washington, DC, one of two children of Howard C. and Dorothy Patty (Patterson) Gurley. They moved to Corinth, Mississippi and lived for a short time, and then Howard brought his two small children, Patricia and Jimmie, to Houston. After attending Davis High School, Patricia spent her young adult years traveling around the Eastern United States with a group of friends and co-workers, selling magazine subscriptions, and finally settled back in Houston. She was married November 6, 2000, to Willard Harvey Jr., who passed August 16, 2011.

Survivors include a son, Ronnie Gallehugh of Houston, and his wife Michelle; a daughter, Elizabeth Clark Sipps, and husband, Chris, of Austin, Texas; three grandchildren, Jonathan Kaeman Sipps, Aidan Matthew, and Regan Michelle Gallehugh. Patricia also had a son, Jason, from a previous marriage, who died April 2011.Patricia had a practical nature, an unending, inexhaustible love for animals, a keen eye for bull***, and a 'mean' poker face. She loved cooking, and dancing and people and people loved her and she had more friends than I will ever know. She is and will forever be missed.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am, with a viewing period beginning at 10 am, Thursday, November 17, 2016, at Brookside Funeral Home-Cyfair, 9149 Hwy. 6 North; burial will be at Earthman-Resthaven Cemetery, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX.
