Pamela Darlene Blackshear Woodring, age 64, passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2018. Born in San Angelo, Texas on December 14, 1953 she grew up in the Pasadena, Texas area most of her life. She was a devoted mom, sister and friend to many. During her high school years, she was named “Personality Plus” at Pasadena High School in 1972. This was only one recognition of how friendly Pam was to everyone. Her career in cosmetology focused on making others beautiful as a full time Hair Stylist for over 30 years. During those years, many of her clients became good friends and some as life long friends.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Betty & James Blackshear and father-in-law, Joseph Sidney Woodring, Sr. Survived by her daughter, Jill Darlene Woodring; sister, Jan Muckleroy and husband Steve; brother Curtis Blackshear and wife Debbie; former husband Mark D. Woodring; Mother-in-law Viola Mae Woodring; brother-in-law Sid Woodring and wife Johnnie Woodring; nieces and nephews, Jeff Woodring and wife Tracy, Memori Green, Jennifer Schmidt, Ron “Bubba” Whilley and wife Kim, Michael Blackshear and wife Tarvia, Stacey Blackshear, Matthew Muckleroy and wife Stephanie, Sarah Muckleroy and many more cousins, relatives and friends.
The Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be at 2:00pm, Saturday, August 4, 2018 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. In lieu of flowers, donations may also be made to the Diabetes Association by visiting www.diabetes.org, the Breast Cancer Association at www.breastcancer.org or to the Mothers Against Drunk Driving Organization at www.madd.org.
