She was born on January 21st, 1951 in Houston Texas to parents Mr. Henry and Mrs. Geraldine Todd. Pamela graduated from Carver High School and received an Undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Texas Southern University and a Masters degree in Education from Prairie View University.
She married the love of her life, Roosevelt Johnson on March 12th, 1976.
Pamela had a career as a teacher for Houston Independent School District for 35 years.
She was a member of Greenspoint Baptist Church, and had a passion for traveling, shopping, but above all, her true passion was caring for her family.
She is survived by her loving husband Roosevelt Johnson; children Roosevelt Tremmell Johnson and wife Diana, and Ryland Terrell Johnson and wife Kristina; granddaughter Emery Kamila Johnson; sisters Charlene Magee, Patricia Prince, Andrea Ross-Brumfield, Angela Sandle; and her dog Brees Johnson.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2020 from 11:00am to 1:00pm with a Celebration of Life held at 1:00pm at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038. Committal service will take place at 2:15pm at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038
