Pamela Thompson Hutchins, age 63, of Willis, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 14, 2016. Pam was born August 17, 1952 in Houston, Texas. At the age of 6, Pam gave her heart to Jesus and at 5:07 am she moved into her heavenly home…healed at last.
Pam graduated in 1971 from Cypress-Fairbanks high school. In 1973, she married Dickey Hutchins. They welcomed their first son, Kevin, in 1975, followed by Keith in 1979. Pam worked as a bus driver for Cy Fair Independent School District until her retirement and their move to their dream home on Lake Conroe. There she enjoyed spending time on their beautiful deck or out in their boat. Then, they welcomed two precious young women into their family when Kevin married Mandy and Keith married Jana. Finally, Pam had her daughters!
Pam returned to the workforce beginning a career in the medical community including Tri-County, Sadler Clinic and, finally, Perri Dermatology. In 2014, she retired to enjoy spending time with her family and friends. Bowling became a favorite pastime, second only to being Gammy to her five grandchildren. Any weekend might find her on the soccer field cheering on Hunter and Hannah, listening with pride as Kaitlyn sang in church choir, inventing various activities in her home with her little helpers, or just laughing and playing with Brady and Harper. The grandkids were her pride and joy.
Pam is survived by her beloved husband of 42 years, Dickey; son, Kevin & wife, Mandy, of Belton, Texas; son, Keith & wife, Jana, of The Woodlands; grandchildren: Hunter, Hannah & Harper of Belton; Kaitlyn & Brady of The Woodlands. Also her mother, Betty Leveritt, of Wichita Falls; five siblings: Sharon Bankhead (Larry) of Temple, Steve Thompson (Debby) of Wichita Falls, Mark Thompson (Perla) of Houston, Mike Thompson of Houston and Mari Sue Peoples of Houston; and sister-in-law, Debbie Hutchins Brantner; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of cousins, neighbors and friends.
