Osvaldo B. Faz, (83), of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on December 27, 2023, surrounded by family and countless friends.
Osvaldo, fondly known as Baldo, was born to Antonio Faz and Maria Villarreal on a cold December day in 1940. Having lost his father at an early age, Osvaldo grew up fast to assist the household. His thirst for knowledge would often find him at the local library or simply conversing and learning from others. He was a welder by trade, and in his early life, a baseball umpire on his free time. Undoubtedly, being a husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather is what he loved most.
Osvaldo is survived by his beloved wife Rosalba Faz and five children, Ileana, Osvaldo, Laura, Alma Nelly and Wendy. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Pedro, Anaeli, Daniel, Diego, Allegra, Leo, Vincent and three great grandchildren, Lilliana, Joseph & Elena.
A visitation for Osvaldo will be held on January 11, 2024 at Funeraria Del Angel 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022, 2:00PM -9PM. Recessional will be held at the same location on January 12, 2024 9AM-11AM. Burial will take place at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery 13102 North Fwy, Houston, Texas 77060 on January 12, 2024 12PM-12:30PM.
