Osbaldo Herrera, 55, passed away peacefully on Saturday April 13, 2024, surrounded by his family in the comfort of his home, following a long and heroic battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 31 years of marriage, Emilia C. Herrera, his son David Osbaldo, his daughters Madeline Emilie, and Emily Denise, his parents Ruben Herrera and Celia Marquez, and his brothers and sisters David, Silvia, Yesenia, Ruben, Nelida, Adriana, and Claudia Ivett.
Osbaldo was born in El Carrizal, Jalisco, Mexico and grew up in Colotlan, Jalisco and San Luis Potosi, SLP, where he attended school. In 1985 he moved to the USA where he continued his studies and acquired a degree in Information technology and was a proud employee of Baker Hughes.
He gave his life to Jesus Christ on January 6th, 1992, and attended the church in Pasco Washington and Galena Park, Houston TX. He joined his life in holy matrimony with Ms. Emilia Corrigeux on March 13, 1993. Osbaldo was an active member of the church and loved to sing. He was a member of the official choir, male choir, and Grupo Bethel.
Osbaldo was a proud family man who loved his children and wife devotedly with whom he often traveled to mountains, forests, canyons, and rivers. He was a happy and friendly person who enjoyed making friends and loved nature as well as gardening.
He is now resting peacefully in the loving arms of his father and creator Jesus Christ where he no longer feels pain or affliction. Osbaldo will be greatly missed by all his family and friends, who will remember his happiness, and joyful character. His spirit of joy and cheerful memories will stay with us in our hearts.
