Ora Lou Nail. Someone special to many people. A daughter, a sister, a mother, an ‘Aunt Ori’, a friend to many and to her grandchildren and great grandchildren she was our beloved Nanny.
Ora loved to be around family and friends and especially loved to fellowship with her church family. She loved wearing her favorite colors of red and purple in the The Red Hat Society and she enjoyed many great times with her friends in the Ladies Auxiliary.
Although she was known to be stubborn on a few occasions, she was always willing to lend an ear, to give advice if needed or simply welcome you with a big hug and a kiss. Without a doubt she loved her family and her family loved her.
Ora will be missed by many, but there is comfort in the fact that she is up in Heaven likely yelling at her late husband, Edgar Nail (Poppy) for ‘banging on the guitar’. Truth be told, I think she was ready to go see him do some pickin’ and grinnin’.
Rest in peace Ora Lou, you will be missed…
