Oommen C. Oommen, 80 years old of Sugar Land, TX passed away February 20, 2018. He was born in Kerala, India on July 30, 1937 to Oommen and Aleyamma Mathai. He was married to Rachel Oommen for 49 years. Oommen had a career in the healthcare industry and worked for UT MD Anderson Cancer Center and The Methodist Hospital. He was a member of the St. Thomas Orthodox Church and had a passion for gardening. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother (C.O. Yohannan). He is survived by his wife, children (Bency & David Vogel, Biju Oommen and Biji & Paul Jacob), and grandchildren (Andrew Vogel, Christin Vogel, Daniel Jacob and Grace Jacob). He is also survived by his brothers Mathews C. Oommen and Thomas Mathews. The family has designated the Alzheimer's Association for memorial contributions.
