Ollie Mary Andrews

On May 6, 1930, Felix Andrews and Minerva Authorlee Andrews welcomed Ollie Mary Andrews into their family. She was their second and last daughter born into this union. At an early age, Ollie accepted Jesus Christ as her Personal Lord and Savior at Greater Union MBC under the leadership of the late Pastor Adam Harris. While attending Greater Union MBC, she grew strong in the Lord and was affiliated with many organizations: Usher Board, Youth Matron, Choir and Missionary Society.Later in Ollie’s life, she met and married Lonnell Nathan. Into this union were born three children: Debra Marie Nathan Haverly (Deceased), Zachary Charles Nathan and Walter Dell Nathan Winston. She leaves to mourn: one son, Zachary Nathan (Lacy); one daughter, Walter Dell Nathan Winston (James); one brother, Lester Ray Charles (Jan); 9 grandchildren, Felix Haverly, Alaric Goodman (Beth), Letitia Haverly King (Terrance), Rev. Rathel Goodman (Michelle), Edward Haverly, Jr., Avery Goodman (Shaniquia), Jordannah Nathan Sykes (Carlton), Wrala DeA’nn Miller (Jermichael) and Felicia Nathan; 26 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Ollie was preceded in death by both her parents, 6 brothers, 1 sister and 1 daughter.
