Olivia had aspirations to become a nurse and attended school for a while yet had to drop out due to the need to help support her parents and family. She was the eldest sister and played a huge roll in her siblings’ lives. She then met her husband, Carlos Moreno, and were married for over 35 years. Olivia was preceded in death by Carlos the love of her life. They had two children and raised them in Brownsville, Texas. She was a vigorous housewife most of her life and made that job look easy. Even before she fell ill, she would love to cook up a storm and make sure everyone had enough to eat. She always did what she had to do to take care of her family. As she was a resilient woman regardless of the circumstances. Anyone that has met her would say that it was a privilege to have known her.
Even during her “retired” years she embraced her love for dancing. She enjoyed reading as well as playing a good game of bingo.
Olivia was the matriarch of this family and will be remembered as the rock of the family. This is farewell for now since we will be together again.
Special Thanks to the hospital staff at Memorial Herman Hospital Cypress.
