Olivia graduated from Jefferson Davis High School in 1965. Before graduating, she was introduced to her future husband, and soon they began dating. On June 28, 1969, she married Antonio Rizo Garcia at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Not long after, they had three children, Angela, Melissa, and Antonio Jr. Olivia became a grandmother in 1991, and she was blessed with nine grandchildren. Olivia and Antonio were married for 54 years.
As a family, they created many memories such as traveling during summer vacation to Colorado, California, and San Antonio. Olivia took joy in camping on the beach, at festival fairgrounds, and wooded trail parks. She loved the thrill of kayaking and tubing down the Guadalupe River. She would have a good time tailgating and attending sporting events. She was fond of visiting yard sales with her sister Helen and then enjoyed lunch at their favorite restaurant, Doyle's. Olivia also had a passion for volunteering for many years at the Nacho Booth during the St. Patrick's Church Bazaar. She was always willing and ready to experience new adventures.
Olivia worked at Shell Oil and Preferred Risk Insurance in the Secretarial field. When she retired, she joined the Avon Company and became the "AVON lady" to many.
