Oleta Arlene Dodson

Oleta Arlene Dodson of Galena Park, TX passed away on May 3, 2017 at St. Luke Episcopal Hospital in Houston. She was surrounded by her loved ones at the time of her passing. Arlene is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Iris Joe Dodson, Sr. She is survived by her children, Cheryl Lynn Badgett and husband, George; Pamela Sue Moore and husband, Tommy; Iris Joe Dodson, Jr. and wife Laveta; and daughter-n-law Teresa Long. She was preceded in death by her youngest son, Robert Mark Dodson.

She is also survived by nine grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren as below:

Joshua L. Moore, wife Ashley daughter Jenesis and sons Kyler and Jax

Brian K. Dodson, wife Charlotte and sons Brian Jr., Blaine and Boston Joe

Paula J. Huggins, husband Damon and daughter Layla

Troy E. Hamilton II, wife Samra and son Troy

She is survived by sister-n-law and brother-n-law Betty and Lee Finke, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Marion and Trisha Dodson and Sister-In-Law Rosalee Ash. She loved and was loved by numerous nieces nephews and cousins.

She is survived by adopted in Love son and daughter Jose, Mary and children Alberto and Karena Gonzalez, and adopted in love son Steve Jennings.

She was a member of Galena Park Assembly of God Church of Galena Park, TX

She loved her church family and was very active in the ministries of the church for over 60yrs.

Arlene dedicated her life to God, her husband, her children and her grandchildren; she loved them dearly.
