Norris and Shirley were one of six couples who met in church about 25 years ago ,Norris always encouraged and supported the "Golden Girls" trips and adventures.  We all bonded in such a cherished manner. We will miss Norris and his smile and his listening ear so much.  However it brings great comfort to know that we will meet again and he will be in perfect health.  
Thank you Norris for making a difference in our lives.  Love you☺️

I knew Norris for over 20 years and worked for him for seven. I remember many times we laughed till he wiped tears from his eyes. Few people I have known had the mind of an inventor like Norris did. He could look at a problem one time and figure it out. He was always up for the challenge to invest in something he thought would work out. In the end, it made him very successful in business. He worked hard, played hard and loved his family. I learned a lot from Norris over the years. I will miss our lunches, our conversations and our laughs. Rest easy "Big Daddy" and we’ll see you one day in Glory. Much love to you and to your sweet family.

Dear Shirley and family,
  I am so sorry for the loss of Norris.
 You two grew old together.  What a blessing to marry your
childhood sweetheart and it worked.  We will be praying that
the Lord will comfort and strengthen you and your family.

Such a big part of my childhood, spending time with the Hayes family. Norris was the first person to show me a LaserDisc, which was either Die Hard or Top Gun, I wish I could remember. All my love. Thanks for being you.

Norris was a part of our lives for many years. He always had a kind word and a smile  for our family no matter how long it had been. We had not seen him in recent years but he will be missed.

When a person becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Shirley, Amber, Greg, Colton and Sarah. Norris was part of our family for 60 years and we will truly miss him. Rest in peace Norris. Love Frances

To Shirley and the Hayes family, friends and MHS Classmates, Norris was of the group of people who were the fabric of the traditions and best of memories of Mac Arthur High School. Shirley, his beautiful bride and mother of his children was one of the bright lights that walked our high school halls . A respected classmate whose smile could light up a room.
So many of his classmates from 1967-1971 who he never knew but knew him. Each reunion, I was asked each reunion about Norris and Shirley and as much as we searched did not seem to find them.  My heart aches that this. like so many of our classmates, is the way we find them.
Prayers for the Hayes family for peace of mind and heart at this time of great personal loss. Please know he is his classmates loss as well.

Norris was my brother-in-law; however, I considered him my brother. He was a vital part of my life since I was nine years old. He accomplished so many things in life with a great deal of determination and hard work. I know I will miss him dearly and a day will not pass without me thinking of him. Love you always.

Norris was such a nice and kind person. He was a fun person to talk with because he was smart and had great life experiences to share! I’m so glad I knew him.

I think of Norris Hayes with fondness. We discussed and worked on PT over many years. We consulted with him and learned from his vast knowledge of the PT industry. But we also discussed life. He was a nice person. He spoke of his ranch and his grandson. I am saddened by his passing. My condolences to his family. He will be missed.
