Born May 1, 1922 in Chariton, Iowa to William Lonzo Cooper and Ollie Leota Davenport.Graduate of Levelland High School in 1940, past President of the Houston Chapter of the National Secretaries Association. Member of Spring Woods UMC and Lee Bible class and member of the Lear Group in the Norchester subdivision. Retired from Amoco Petroleum Corp (BP); member of the Amoco Houston Alumni.
Preceded in death by husband George W. (Bill) Walker and brothers Gernie, Garvin, Dan and Kent Cooper and granddaughter Belinda Jane Walker.Survived by son Billie Dan Walker, grandsons Brian Howard Walker and Brett Winfield Walker, and granddaughter-in-law Mary Walker, all of Houston; sisters Mary Belle Brock of Bedford and Ollie Faye Whitener of McKinney, and brother Gordon Dale Cooper of Lubbock.
A visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Thursday October 15, 2015 and funeral services will be held at 10 am on Friday October 16, 2015 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home.
