Norma Jean Astorga

Norma Jean Astorga, 62 of Houston, Texas was born July 20, 1961 in Houston, Texas to Richard and Teresa (Medel) Astorga and passed away at her home on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was a woman who loved to sing, dance, and give hugs to everyone and to pray daily. She enjoyed her family time and taking lots of pictures, and asking for your phone number. She was very friendly and outgoing. She enjoyed coloring; talking to others and music by Michael Jackson. She also loved reading her bible.

Norma is survived by her mother, Teresa Astorga; brother, Sebastian Astorga, Sr. and wife, Cheryl; nieces, Roseanna Chavira and spouse, Mati; Samantha Rollins and husband, Chuck and Melanie Vega and husband, Martin along with nephews, Sebastian Astorga, Jr. and wife, Paige and Victor Astorga and other extended aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Astorga, Sr. and brother, Richard Astorga Jr.

Funeral services will be held 10:00am, Friday, January 26, 2024 at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo Funeral Home with burial following at Forest Park Lawndale. Visitation will be Thursday afternoon from 12:00pm until 8:00pm.

Serving as pallbearers will be Victor Astorga, Martin Vega, Chris Medel, Daniel Torres, Sebastian Astorga, Jr. and Chris Alanis.
