Norene M. Landes

Norene M. Landes, age 87, passed away on the 12th of December 2011. Norene was born and raised in Petrolia, Texas, but was a 60 year resident of Houston. She was a loving full-time homemaker. She is preceded in death by her devoted husband, Garth Landes; her son, Danny Landes; and many other loving family members. Her memory will be cherished in the hearts of her loving daughter, Linda Beck; granddaughters, Lisa Thompson, Lori Hoeffken, and Jenny Landes; and four great-grandchildren.

The funeral service is to be conducted at eleven o'clock in the morning on Saturday, the 17th of December, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston, where Rev. Charles H. Thompson, Executive Pastor of First United Methodist Church of Houston Downtown Campus, is to officiate. Prior to the service, during the ten o'clock hour, the family will receive friends during a visitation in the chapel.

The interment is to follow, via an escorted cortege, at Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston.
