Our family and community sadly lost our aunt and friend, Juanita "Nita" Stanley on Thursday, April 6, 2023, when she passed peacefully of natural causes.
Mrs. Stanley was a 50-year resident of Candlelight Forest in Houston, Texas and was raised in The Heights.
Mrs. Stanley was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Stanley Sr.; her son Charles Stanley Jr.; her mother, Ann Miller; sister, Lillian Rowe; and brothers Harry Ellis and Paul Ellis, niece Vicki Rowe, and nephew CK Ellis. She is survived by 5 nephews Eddy Ellis, Charles Ellis, Michael Ellis, Lynn Ellis and Keith Rowe, and by Kim Rowe who she loved like a daughter.
Funeral services will be held Friday April 14, 2023, at Pat H. Foley Funeral Home, 1200 West 34th St. Houston, Texas 77018 and burial will be directly after the services at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Fwy. Houston, Texas 77079.
