On May 8, 1937, a baby boy was born to the late Jeff and Beth Randolph. They named him Nathaniel. Nate was born in Camden, Arkansas. There, he met and married the love of his life, Mary Louise, and they packed up and moved to Houston. Nate accepted Christ at an early age at Sweet Home Baptist Church where he served on the Usher board. Later, he and his wife would join Fontaine First Baptist Church under Reverend J.H Brown, and oh, how he loved the services. He would often talk about the sermons each Sunday. He attended Lafayette High School where he was a football star. He was employed at Cactus Piping Co. for many years. On April 14th at 4:04 A.M., God called his name and took him home.
He leaves to forever cherish his memory his devoted wife of 66 years. He also leaves behind one surviving brother, William Randolph (Helen) of Cleveland, Ohio; two sisters-in-law, JoAnn James of Houston, Texas, and Helen of Ohio; four nieces and three nephews, and a host of cousins and friends. He made time for all of us and he will remain in our hearts.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Alaska Bell; one son, Bradley; and one stepson, Charles Ray.
