

Nathan attended the University of Houston where he studied agronomy. He then started his career in veterinary products serving the Texas Farm and Ranch industry. Later he started a second career selling wire, rope and fitting to the oil, gas and marine industry.
Nathan was an avid volunteer for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo for over 40 years. He served as Chairman for the Junior Commercial Steer Committee for three years, 1994 – 1996.
Nathan was preceded in death by his parents, Lois Pruitt Peebles and Leonard LaGacy; and older brothers, Lester Lee and Ronald Wayne Peebles.
He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 37 years Oliva; and son, Joel Craig Peebles of Austin.
A memorial service and celebration of Nathan’s life is to be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon on Friday, the 14th of April, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.
Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception in the adjacent grand foyer.
