Nancy W. Werner

Nancy Wennerstrom Werner, 70, of Pasadena, Texas, passed away peacefully on the morning of Saturday, July 21, 2018, at Kindred Hospital in Webster, Texas. Nancy was born on May 3, 1948 in El Paso, Texas. Her parents, Doris and Jack Wallace III had four children and moved the family to Dallas, Texas where Nancy grew up.

In 1966, Nancy married John Robert Wennerstrom Sr. of Chicago, Illinois. She would remain married to him until his passing in 1995. Four years later, she found love again and married Robert W. Werner of Ohio. She would remain married to him until his passing in 2017.

Nancy enjoyed bowling, bingo, traveling the world, watching the Hallmark Channel, rooting on her Houston sports teams, driving, gambling, and playing various board and card games. She was a champion magazine shopper and an expert at driving the back roads on road trips. She enjoyed listening to 50’s music and old country and western music.

The most important thing in life to Nancy was family, which was shown by the unconditional love she gave to everyone around her. She enjoyed spending time and sharing a lot of love and laughter with everyone in her life. She had a true giving and kind spirit and rarely used the word “no”. She possessed a selfless spirit with an ability to put others first and a drive to make others not worry.

She is survived by her son, John Wennerstrom Jr., and daughter-in-law Tiffany, and grandchildren Bethany and Robert; her step-daughter Stacey Werner and grandchildren Teal and Jacob; her step-daughter Kim Werner; her step-daughter Denise Soto, and granddaughters Callie, and Caitlyn; her brother Donald Wallace III and sister-in-law Kay; her brother Patrick Wallace and sister-in-law Ann; her sister Margaret Miles; and many great-grandchildren, cousins, nephews, and nieces.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on July 28, 2018, at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home located at 6900 Lawndale St., Houston, TX. 77023. Services will be located inside the Grand Chapel with Pastor Scot Bryant officiating.
