Nancy W. Person

1943-2017

Nancy Person passed peacefully away on June 9, 2017 following a long, determined battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born in North Little Rock, Arkansas on November 13, 1943 to parents Paul and Mary Lee Wann, who predeceased her. She is survived by her loving and very supportive husband of 22 years, Bill Person.

Nancy grew up in Houston, graduating from Reagan High School. She attended the University of Houston earning her Master’s degree in Healthcare Management. She was employed at Tenneco Inc. for over 20 years. She then became a nursing home administrator before retiring. She and Bill shared their love of dogs, their trips to their south Texas hunting lease, and their time spent at their home in Colorado.

She enjoyed cooking, travel and gardening, earning a Master Gardener certification. She will be remembered as a very loving, caring, generous daughter, wife and friend. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

A private graveside service will be held at Brookside Memorial Park, Houston, Texas. Any memorials in Nancy’s name may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association, 6055 South Loop East, Houston, TX 77087.
