Nancy A. McVille, age 56, passed away, Sunday, January 6, 2013. Born in Biloxi, MS., she earned her BBA at Loyola University of New Orleans, moved to Houston in 1985, and was an active participant of Northwest Houston community theater. "The Tulip" enjoyed performing, was an avid reader, loved music, old movies, the cats, and ... most of all, playing board games with family and friends. Her radiant smile will forever be etched on our hearts. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Phyllis Platt. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Steve McVille; daughter, Clara McVille and friend Chad Redding; sister, Sally Forrest and husband Randy; niece, Halle Rosa McVille; mother-in-law, Clara Adams; sisters and brothers-in-law, Nanci McVille Lonzo and husband Fredrick; Marc McVille and wife Vita; Teresa Berlioz; Michael McVille; niece, Tate Schultea; nephews, Albert McVille, III, and Jason McVille; other relatives; and many wonderful friends she called family. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 11, 2013 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven, with a Vigil Service to be held at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 12, 2013 at St. Edward Catholic Church, 2601 Spring Stuebner Rd., Spring, Texas. Rite of Committal will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
