Before retiring, Nancy worked for Prudential as a licensed insurance agent and financial planner. Nancy had a passion for volunteer work. She believed in the youth and was a member of the Houston Rodeo and Bluebonnet Bells. She also was an honorary volunteer for the C.O.Y.S.L. Youth Scholarship League in addition to her volunteerism with the Houston Symphony and Keep Houston Clean.
Nancy was a kind, generous and loving Christian woman who will be dearly missed. She will be fondly remembered by daughters, Viki Goodrich, Becke Ferris, and Susan Ruffin; grandchildren, Brett Goodrich, Jeff Goodrich, Lesley Watts and Ciff Ruffin; great-grandchildren, Jaden Goodrich, Drew Goodrich and Dalton Goodrich; nieces, Kathleen Williams, Debora Furlow, Beverly Winter and Leah Martin; and best friends, Jennie Philbeck, Victoria Bodie, Deborah Hill and Johnette Norman.
Friends are invited to join the family in remembrance of Nancy at a Memorial Service at 3 o’clock in the afternoon the 16th of April 2011 in the Chapel of Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Services will be conducted by the Reverend Mark Perez, Jr.
