Nancy Lee Bertha Josephine Johnson

Nancy Lee Bertha Josephine Johnson, 92 years and 8 months of Magnolia, Texas passed away on November 19, 2022. She was born in LaGrange, TX on March 19, 1930 to parents Bertha Wittman and Wilhelm (Willie) G. Huebel.

Nancy graduated from LaGrange High School in 1948. She met William "Bill" Johnson in Ardmore, Oklahoma and the two married on July 17, 1949. Nancy worked in sales for Avon for 10 years. She was a 50 year member of the General Grand Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, a member of the American Legion and served as a Chaplain member of Amvets. Nancy had a passion for traveling, dancing and loved family.

Nancy is preceded in death by her loving husband of 33 1/2 years, William "Bill" Johnson; daughter, Betty Bailey; mother, Bertha Huebel; father, Wilhelm (Willie) Huebel; brother's, Leslie Huebel, Willie Huebel; sister, Leona Reising and grandson Zackery Bailey.

She is survived by daughters, Barbara Shaw, Nancy Voegtlin; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 20 great great-grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 9 step great-grandchildren, and 4 step great great -grandchildren as well as many other treasured family and friends.

A visitation for Nancy will be held Monday, November 28, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Grand Chapel at Brookside followed by burial at Brookside Memorial Park.
