Nancy Arlene Nicol Evans, 77, passed away on May 8, 2022. She was born in Cleveland, TX on October 26, 1944 to parents Herman Louis and Edith Frances Schlobohm Nicol. Nancy graduated from Aldine High School. She met Marcus Eugene Evans and married in Las Vegas, on September 2, 1967. Nancy was a loving devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great grandmother. She loved puzzles, reading, writing and crocheting. She made several beautiful blankets before her hands wouldn’t let her anymore.
She was preceded in death by her husband Marcus Eugene Evans (Jan. 21,1998); her parents Edith Frances Schlobohm Nicol (Feb. 22, 1965) and Herman Louis Nicol (Feb. 10, 1970); her brothers Carl Everette Nicol (Nov. 2, 1968); John Louis Nicol (Jan. 11, 2009); and Milton Eugene Nicol (June 15, 2013).
Survived by her brother & sister-in-law William & Velma Nicol; sister & brother-in-law Frances & David Wiles; sister Alma Nagy.
Survived by her children: Vivian Wynette & son-in-law Stanley Patton, Frances Arlene & son-in-law Troy Bassham; Gene Thomas & daughter-in-law Rhonda Evans; Amanda Lorraine Evans; Maxwell Louis Evans; and stepson Mark Eugene & daughter-in-law Michelle Dawn Evans. Her grandchildren Stanley Patton IV, Hayley Patton, Tori Hays, Sydney Bassham, John Thomas Evans, Jonathan Young, Michael Young, Sean Young, Daniel Ballard Junior, Adrianna Ballard, Marcus Evans, Maddyson Evans, Hunter Evans, Carlee Evans. Her great grandchildren Abigail Patton and Stanley V (Quintin).
