Nancy Kerr Calland, born December 30th, 1943 in Houston, Texas to Thomas G. Kerr and Annie Kerr, passed away on December 9th, 2009 at home. Nancy was a Houston native, a devoted wife and mother. She met her husband Charles in 1967 and it was love at first site for both of them. She was preceded in death by her son and daughter (twins), Keavin and Melissa, her brother, Austin Kerr and her parents. Nancy is survived by her husband, Charles, son, Brian, daughter, Catherine, sister, Hattie Bottoms, sister, Jean Rash, brother, Robert Kerr and numerous nieces and nephews. Nancy was an avid traveler and was most happy on the road or in the air. Animals, particularly cats, were very important to her as well as music.Visitation will be on Friday, December 11th, 2009 from 4-8pm at Brookside Funeral Home Chapel: 13401 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039, phone: 281.449.6511.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 12th, 2009 at 10am at Brookside Funeral Home with burial to follow.
