Myrtle M Trout, born April 24, 1932 passed away April 23, 2013. She is preceded in death by her father, James a Brown; mother, Lucy A Sullivan Reppond; sister, Patsy A Brown; brother, James A Brown; son, Rodney W. Trout; great granddaughter, Hannah Grace Hoffart. Myrtle will be greatly missed by her husband of 63 years, Glen E. Trout; sons, Larry E Trout and wife Judith, Tommy L Trout and wife Janet; daughter, Nancy Holcombe and companion James Turner; honorary son, Alan Taylor; honorary sister, Marion Coffman; seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was a loyal wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Her legacy will be carried in the hearts of all that knew her. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Porter since 1962.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Brookside Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am Friday, April 26, 2013 at Brookside Funeral Home Grand Chapel with interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
