Willie Marie Richard was born January 25, 1944 in Houston, Texas to the union of Willie and Dorothy Mae Jefferson. She was the second of nine children. She "stepped into Glory" and entered rest by the divine order and call of God, in the early morning hour February 23, 2017. The Lord wrapped his loving arms around her and brought her home. Willie Marie is preceded in death by her first husband A. J. Traylor; her parents Willie and Dorothy Jefferson; two sisters Ruby Lee Turner and Dorothy Louise Wright; two brothers Clarace Edward Jefferson and Donald Mack Jefferson; grandchildren Megan Riggins, Megan Jefferson and Erick Jefferson and niece Kimbelle Phillips. She leaves to cherish her memories a loving husband Rickey Richard; daughters Berlinda Sampson and Debra Jefferson; sons Reginald Jefferson, Rodney Traylor (Temaka); sisters Patricia Pennington, Linda Williams and Cheryl Phillips and one brother Robert Jefferson; fifteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
