?Betty Jean Golden was born into a caring a loving family in Houston, Texas on October 22, 1957 to the late Lee Vera Golden. She was the firstborn of three children. She was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning, January 25th. She was baptized into the Faith and accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age. Upon graduating from Jefferson Davis High School, Betty worked many years for Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital in customer service, food service, and building services. She also attended classes at Houston Community College. Betty loved good food and socializing, enjoyed entertaining with family and friends, and had a wonderful smile that could light up a room. Betty is preceded in death by her mother, Lee Vera Golden, and her son, Cedric Golden. The demise of Betty has left an enduring void with her family and acquaintances. Cherishing her memories are: her children: Jacqueline Killings, Michael (LaKecia), and Tammiekka Golden all of Houston; grandchildren: Franchelle, Joshua, Mikesha, Michael, Michael, Mickayla, Rayona, Micheal, Faith, Marvin, JaMicheal, Jermequa, Da’Marcus, Tony, Da’Jarius, Antonie, Anjrue, and Ja’Coybe; great grandchildren: Damarcus, Deshawn, and Cedric; siblings: Carolyn, Craig, and Johnny; one aunt, Ruby and a host of other relatives and friends.
