Mrs. Annie Jewel- Hunt Jones

On January 22, 1949 in Huntsville, Texas a Queen was born and her parents named her Annie Jewel. She attended James D.Ryan Elementary and continued on through school where she graduated from Kashmere High School in 1967. After high school Annie continued on to college at TWU in Denton, Texas. When Annie came home in 1974 she met her love David Crockett Jones and married him shortly after to this union one daughter was born. Annie confessed christ at an early age where she became a member under the leadership of the late Reverend S.V.Adolph,Sr. Annie sang in the Mass choir and became a member of the Mission II and a treasurer of the condolence comittee until her health began to fail. Annie managed her paarents business for many years until her health failed. Annie Jewel departed this life on Monday September 7, 2015 at the age of 66 at St. Lukes Hospital where she was surrounded by most of her family. Jewel was a deeply caring and loving woman who touched many lives and will be truly missed. Jewel was preceeded in death by her parents Ferman C. Hunt Sr., and mother A.J. Rivers, and brother Ferman C. Hunt Jr., and her first great grandson Kemarquis Jones. She leaves to cherish her memories; daughter Kimberly Jones, five grandchildren Quandralyn, Christopher (Shemeika), Shakeia,Adrian,Chrishaun: six great grand children Crystal, Anniyah,Kyla,Laila,Breylyn and Derek; brothers, Robert E.Forney(Gwen), Therman Hunt II (Shirley), Ray Hunt(Felicia); and a special adopted grand daughter Nely Rodriguez.
