Brother Ivan Justice was a very outspoken and assertive man of GOD. Ivan was a prominent entrepreneur with a knack for Arborists services, along with design and construction. He was a very hardworking and motivated professional. Though his health began to decline, Ivan was not one to rest on his laurels, he continued to work on many diverse projects. One of the most memorial moments quotes Ivan would use while spending time with family and friends is, "I can do more with no legs than most men can do with two legs." Ivan passed peacefully from this life the afternoon of January 1, 2018, after a sudden decline in health. Though he suffered greatly, he barred the pain patiently with his loving sister, Liley Thibodeaux. She did everything she could to relieve him from his pain and to prolong his life. It was GOD’s will for Ivan to come home. Ivan had come to the realization such and was not alarmed of the thought of death. He felt as if his work here on earth was done. Ivan had come to the assurance with a song he would sit and sing, "When I’ve gone the Last Mile of the Way." Ivan was born on February 2, 1955, in Huntsville, Texas to parents Mack and Arnell Justice. Ivan is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers (Mac Justice, Jerry Justice), a sister (Brenda Justice), one son (Charles Tackwood) and a nephew (Mac Justice III). Ivan attended elementary school in Dodge, Texas (Dodge Elementary School). The family moved to Houston, Texas and Ivan continued his education in North Forrest ISD. He leaves to cherish his memories five siblings; Gene Justice, Calvin Justice, Bettie Justice-Spence, Liley Thibodeaux and Christopher Justice, a common–law wife Marry Tackwood and three children John, Darlene and Davita Tackwood. He also leaves his loving memories with one aunt and uncle, Bernice Justice and Tony Parker, along with twelve grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. BRO.
