I found out on May 4, 2018,  some six years after the fact, that a woman whom I spent 13 years of my life pursuing until I decided that it was not meant to be, and later met my future love Sherry, passed away.
I proposed to her,  but Fate steered me and her in different directions.  I'm sad and wistful, but I cannot deny the gift and bounty that life has given me with my wife, and our beautiful children. 
God, in his infinite wisdom, placed us on different paths.  May God bless you, Molly Griffin - I hope you found the peace you were seeking.
I loved you, and will cherish all that I learned from you to my dying days. 
You made me a better man, and for that, I will always be grateful.  
I will never forget you.

Last year on this day I bought two glasses of wine, one for you and enjoyed the second.  Tonight I honor our memories by having a glass if wine and a second sitting at an empty seat!   There's not a day that doesn't go by you cross my mind and these last couple days have been some of the heaviest.  You are dearly missed my friend.

Molly is also survived by family on her maternal side.  Her loving grandmother Marie R Weir, 97, uncles Thomas A. Weir and James B.Weir, aunts Diane W. Holmberg and Annette L. Weir.  We love you Molly and we are so grateful for the time we had with you sweetheart.

Molly,  I knew something was wrong when you missed your hair appt the first time in 26 years. Little did I know the day I was missing you they were celebrating your life on this earth. We practically watched each other grow up, shared a lot of ups and downs, and teased each other about this being our longest relationship. You know what they say about "things your hairdresser knows" LOL. I am so sad that I will not see your beautiful face and experience your quick wit and dry sense of humor. I will miss you my friend.
