Mike is predeceased by his father Lawrence Frank and mother Vicenza (Jennie) Frank. He is survived by his wife Maria Frank, his daughter Lisa Lapeze, husband Brent and granddaughters Adelyn and Emery and his son Matthew Frank, wife Jessica and granddaughters Ellie and Olivia. He is also survived by his sister Jeanne Hines, husband Wayne and their children and grandchildren. He is also survived by four brothers-in-law, David, Tom (Liz), Robert (Sherry) and Richard (Tiffanie) and two sisters-in-law, Cindy and Suzanne (Jim) and a multitude of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by lifelong friends Kelly Voelkel, Harold Frank and Boyce Weiman.
Mike graduated from St. Pius High School in 1972 and Texas A&M University in 1976 with a degree in Industrial Engineering. Mike started his career with Texas Instruments and worked at various companies in Supply Chain, Warehousing & Logistics during his career. Throughout his life Mike enjoyed volunteering in a variety of programs including Houston Rodeo Committee, Junior Achievement, C.A.M.P. (Caring Aggies Mentoring Program), and Epiphany Job Network, among others.
Mike’s lifelong passions were spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. His happy place was spending time with his family/friends at the deer lease. It was very special to him that he was able to enjoy a weekend hunting trip with his son Matthew for his 68th birthday in December 2021. He enjoyed fishing and water skiing on Lake Livingston in his younger years. He also enjoyed tending to his garden and tinkering in his garage. He was a proud grandfather and loved being Paw Paw to his four granddaughters Ellie, Addie, Livie and Emmy.
A celebration of Mike’s life will be Sunday, April 24, 2022 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Clay’s, 17717 Clay Road, Houston, Texas 77084.
