On November 22, 1974, a joyful baby boy was born to William Roberts and Vivian Castille Roberts. They named him Michael Erich, but most called him throughout his life MIKE. He was the youngest of their four children, indeed the Babyboy to his family. He created many special memories over the years living at 7629 Parker Road, in Scenic Woods Community with his devoted loving parents, siblings, sons, nephews, nieces extended family, and close friends. Once Mike graduated and received his diploma from Mary Brantley Smiley High School, he knew he was destined to follow his father’s footsteps to obtain his CDL License to drive the big rigs long distance. He was elated when was hired on with Hadley Transportation, to transport all the cool luxury vehicles to various out of state locations. Now Mike being the go-getter he was could not be content with one job, so he simultaneously pursued with great tenacity his dreams of being an actor, model and several entrepreneurial opportunities. Family and close friends were impressed when Mike was cast in small roles as an actor in some independent local plays along with him receiving credits for an extra in a few movies. With his natural charisma, lively fun spirit, and smooth polished style, oh well it came easy. Mike also, later set out to get some technical training at San Jacinto College in drama.
Mike lived his life with great fortitude against all odds and was not dismayed one bit when obstacles were presented. He followed his hearts passions and desires faithfully and was determined to achieve his goals. Although, he may have not reached or returned to the pinnacle in his early years of life he continues to be the DREAMER! Even in the later years when he was seriously affected by an undesirable severe medical condition, he continued to dream big with great enthusiasm as he navigated daily through the challenges and setbacks of his debilitating illness for two decades. Mike contributed his strides to overcome and achieve through his commitment to his faith in God and his loving family, especially his Momma and Daddy who cover him throughout all his earthly days. He will be remembered as warm-hearted outgoing fun beautiful supportive soul who was a true dreamer who was courageous through all the obstacles in his life who built and define his own footprints while he was here for this earthly journey.
