He is survived by his wife Kim Hardin, Son, Michael Joseph Rawls Jr., Daughter, Mallary Renee Fortunato and Husband John Fortunato, 9 Grandchildren (Brenden, Paris, Brittlyn, Bryce, Sophia, Jameson, Kennedy and Kylee).
Michael was a very thoughtful, compassionate person. He loved his family, friends and Boo Boo with his whole heart. Mike truly lived life to the fullest. He was kind, generous with his time and extremely thoughtful in everything that he did. He had the ability to make anyone laugh and feel comfortable, so they could just be themselves. He taught his children to be loving, always. Family was his number one priority and he always told us not to sweat the small stuff.
Some of Mike's favorite things were going to the casino, playing golf with his crazy buddies, being around his kids and grandkids and being with Kim. He loved being on the water whether it be fishing, boating or floating the river.
He was very optimistic and always reminded us that nobody was going to steal his joy. He had God's favor and loved the lord with all his heart.
1 Corinthians 13:7
