On March 30, 1957 a child named Michael Glenn Nelms was born. He confessed Christ into his life at a young age. He graduated Klein High School. He then entered into the military where he received several accommodations for his service including Good Conduct Award.
He would then go on to marry Brenda Joyce Williams and to this union one child was born, Glenda Beatrice Joyce Nelms.
Preceding him in death was his parents, Tom and Beatrice Nelms; his mother, Joyce Jackson; two brothers, Julious Jackson and Allen Jackson; three sisters, Linda Jackson, Sarah Jackson and Gloretha Jackson.
He leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife, Brenda and daughter, Glenda; sister, Florence Kay and brother, Charles Jackson; sisters-in-law, Tessie Crawford, Sandra and John Mason of Memphis, Tennessee; brothers-in-law, Paul, Floyd, Willie James and Larry. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
