The Happiest Bridesmaid with her Big Brother 

He was my best friend for over 40 years. It didn't matter if we were having bb gun wars or swinging swords made out of broom handles at each other when we were kids or hooking up computers together to play video games we always had fun and were comfortable with each other. He's going to be missed tremendously. 

I’ve been scrolling through my digitalized lifetime  in photos (too many, being a former shutterbug, but priceless for my amnesia!) remembering times spent with  my brother and any his/my family may not already have. 
Just after I started scrolling through ones with my Late, common law husband, Lawrence, and saw pic I took and posted of my brother in front of the fire, I started remembering the 3 of us riding, going to benefits and even one afternoon I had no reason to take photos, but my brother had come over, they were working on something in the garage. I was purposely trying to irritate them, and because my brother knew me so well, made a subtle remark regarding a certain time of the month. Nuke’um laughed, responding affirmatively to Mike, “definitely siblings!”  
The photos also reminded me about my brother coming with us to go to the St. Valentines Massacre Rally in Bourne, Texas. We took a curving backroad  where the countryside is so beautiful, all the ranches have white, wooden fences enclosing a majestically painted canvas of grazing, black and white cows that are perfectly spread across carpeted, rolling hillsides with just the right color of  green paint.  
We stopped to eat at a 5 Star Menu Restaurant, without the high price, I’d been to before for lunch. It is inside what was once  Welfare, Texas’s Post Office/Courthouse/Jail.  
I knew the next place we stopped was purposely to take photos at a little nostalgic, old gas station. I finally found these, but was certain I handed my camera to my brother to take our picture and either before or after,  took a photograph of my brother.  I couldn’t find it, yet. But, now I see that y’all have posted it. Wow. 
Nuke'um would often ask if my brother wanted to go riding to events with us. Nuke’um was very particular about who could come over. Not counting myself or his sister,  one hand can count who he considered a friend and cared to spend time with. I was so grateful my brother was one of the few.

It was  when he rode out to the La Familia Motorcycle Club’s Annual Birthday Party (Sister Club to the Law Enforcement Los Carnales Motorcycle Club I rode with all the time, took photographs, designed and maintained its original website for over 10 years) along with Lawrence “Nuke’um” Newcomb (6.23.1958-2.19.2005) 

This is one of my favorite photographs I captured of my big brother, Mike, “Wizard” Morris. 
Taken after a long ride on our bikes in 2001 with Lawrence “Nuke’um” Newcomb (6.23.1958-2.19.2005) and I, (Miriam “fox”)  out to Bryant’s Ice House & Camping for the La Familia Motorcycle Club’s Annual Birthday Party (Sister Club to the Law Enforcement Los Carnales Motorcycle Club I rode with all the time, took photographs, designed and maintained its original website for over 10 years) I rode my first bike (dirt bike) when I was a kid with my brother, wouldn’t have been able to buy my 1st Harley, Millennium 1200 Sportster without my brother trusting me, and putting the loan in his name, nor have ever had the bravery to ride my own all over and will never forget the courage he instilled in me. 
He was a genius with vast expertise in an expansive amount of knowledge, abilities, talents, hobbies, a fabulous Father, Husband, Brother and  Widely versed Martial Artist. 
If it weren’t for Lisa’s strength, I would be lost.

It’s impossible to find the “right” words to express my sincerest condolences to my Sister-in-Law, the Sister I always hoped for, & their two perfect children, my dearest Niece, Kassandra & strong, wonderful Nephew, Swordsman. 
Grief stricken still, I was proud to be  his “Little Sister.”  Stevie Ray entitled a song,  “Little Sister.” Lyrics reminding my little sister escapades, Big Brother endured.
Exploring nature along Buffalo Bayou, along Peach Creek surrounded by Pines & blackberries picked along the banks. Giant turtles in the creek. Putting tents up to camp overnight on our forest filled lot. 
After a spiteful or jealous complaint of chickens & ducks, I’m surprised they didn’t complain about our Huge Fig Tree or honeysuckles along the back fence. Our Late Mother was raised on a working farm in the panhandle, & I’m sure seeing us gather fresh eggs brought her much joy.
We settled them on our Peach Creek lot, shelter, plenty of food & water. Visits to the country meant more weekends to check on them  for years, only to find all we’re stolen by a chicken thief.  The 3 pet ducks, now all white, so a different color bread tie was put on their feet. Released in Hermann Park Pond, 2 blocks away, with plenty of Ducky friends. They came straight up to us each visit, gobbled up leftover bread, 
The warm, sunny days and overnight visits to the beaches exploring with Grandpa & Grandma Epps, Uncle Warren, who always lived near Gulf. Or to visit Aunt Barbara & cousins. 
My Big Brother protected me throughout my life. 
He is the Best Big Brother in History. I wanted to grow old for much, much longer together. I have gained a Sister, a niece and a nephew, thanks to Michael David, now the My Arc Angel, Michael, Guardian forevermore. 
Thank you Big Brother!
