A beloved son, brother, uncle & friend, Michael grew up in Houston attending St. Michael Catholic School, Robert E. Lee High School & the University of Texas at Austin. After graduating UT with a B.A. in Marketing, Michael moved to Washington D.C. to work as a Market Analyst with Cushman & Wakefield. Always reaching for the top, Michael’s savvy work ethics transferred him to the San Francisco Bay Area where he called home for 13 years before complications with multiple sclerosis brought him back to Houston. The courage, determination & dignity Michael displayed while fighting this terrible disease was commendable. His kindness was immeasurable & his humor unforgettable. These memories we will hold onto forever.
Michael is survived by parents, Sandra & Anthony LaCorte; sister, Gina LaCorte Aaronson & husband, Rory & their children Brittany, Connor & Cole; sister, Lisa LaCorte; uncle, Tony Chiodo; cousin, Colette Chiodo Holmes & husband, Nick & their daughter Harper; cousin, Aria Chiodo, along with many amazing friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Marion & Rosie LaCorte; maternal grandparents, Anthony & Clara Chiodo; & brother-in-law, Byron H. Yarbrough.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 9:00-10:30am Wednesday, July 11th followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am at St. Michael Catholic Church 1801 Sage Road in Houston. To celebrate Michael’s life, all are invited to a reception after at the St. Michael Parish Life Center.
