Mike was born May 18, 1956, at Saint Joseph, to Neil and Mary Brady.
He was preceded in death by his father, Neil Brady and father-in-law Jim Gravis. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Marie and his daughter Meghan Gray and husband Chris, his son Michael and his mother Mary Brady, his brothers Tom Brady, Gerry Brady and wife Sharon, sister Mary McGrory and husband Jim. Also survived by his mother-in-law Valjean Gravis, brother-in-law Greg and wife Gloria, Tim and wife Carmen, David and wife Kim, Robert and wife Fran, sister-in-law Valerie and husband Bill, and fifteen nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.
Mike graduated from Madison High School in 1974 where he was active in sports. He met his wife Marie in 1973 and later married in 1977. He worked in the oil field industry for many years before pursuing his career in the construction field. He became a father in April of 1982 and again in June of 1989.
Mike enjoyed meeting new people. He never met a stranger and enjoyed riding his Harley that included cross-country trips to Washington DC and the Grand Canyon. Mike loved making people laugh. There was never a dull moment with Mike around and you could always find him at the local Whataburger. He took great pride in being Irish and loved celebrating every St. Patrick’s Day. Mike would always claim all of Meghan and Michael’s friends as his own; he was a father to everyone. Mike was a great husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He was always willing to lend a hand during any project; he was there to help. Everyone and his beloved dog Duke, aka Little Buddy, will miss him. He was also a long time parishioner at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and very strong in his Catholic faith.
