Maureen Margaret Campbell Baird

Maureen Margaret Campbell Baird, 58, beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend died peacefully on Sunday, June 22, 2014. Maureen was born to Martin Lawrence Campbell & Rita Marie McHugh Campbell on May 17, 1956 in Houston Texas. She was a graduate of the University of Houston and worked as a paralegal for law firms Hays McConn, Chamberlain Hrdlicka, Mayor Day Caldwell & Keeton, Porter & Clements, and Bracewell & Patterson.

Maureen is survived by her three sons, Raleigh, William, and John Martin, her sister and brother-in-law Ritamarie and Thomas Tauer, nephews Tommy and Charley Tauer, and niece Maria Hadjialexiou. Her sisters-in-law Nancy Baird, Joan Baird Glover, and Elizabeth Saenger mourn her death. Maureen leaves behind many friends who cared dearly for her and she for them.

Maureen will be remembered for her dedication to her sons, her love of her cocker spaniel Maddie, her passion for shopping, and her love of the beach.

Services will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 10:30 am at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 11720 Joan of Arc Drive off Bunker Hill in Houston, Texas. A reception at the church will follow the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Cecilia Catholic School or to a charity of your choice.
