Mary Lee White

Mary Lee White, 95, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Thursday, April 8, 2021 in Houston, Texas. She was born in the small community of Rock Island, Texas and was one of 5 daughters born to James and Maude Wilson. Mary Lee graduated from Corrigan High School and shortly after married her life partner of 76 years, Frank White. Frank preceded her in death April 1, 2019.

Mary Lee is survived by one sister, Mavis Jackson, of League City. She is also survived by her sons Gordon (Sandy) and Glen (Leslie); 5 grandchildren: Jeannie Jones, Heath White, Randy Hebert, Lauren White, Lisa Kallus; 6 great-grandchildren: Taylor Baker, Daniel Baker, Aaron Hebert, Asa Hebert, James Kallus, Andrew Kallus; and one brand new great-great-grandson, Ryker McDaniel.

Mary Lee, along with Frank, devoted themselves to their faith, family, and friends. They loved family reunions, holiday gatherings, church fellowships, game nights, and any opportunity to be with those they loved.

We would like to extend a special thanks of appreciation to the caregivers at Cura Homebridge, especially CeCe and Lexi, for loving on Mom and treating her so well these past few months.

Visitation will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 13, 2021, in the Family Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM followed by a burial at Brookside Memorial Park.
