Mary Ann Lobland Price was born in Houston, TX September 29, 1946. She graduated from St. Francis grade school and St. Pius High School in Houston. Mary Ann was married for over 46 years and had been with her husband Douglas for over 50 years. She was a beautiful wife, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was our best friend!
Mary Ann always had a fond appreciation of the performing arts, and live music. She loved to dance, and especially enjoyed pop music of the 80's, 90's, on up to today's modern pop! Her favorite shows were "Dancing with the Stars", "American Idol", "The Voice", and "So You Think You Can Dance". She was very active physically and was involved with Jazzercise for over 20 yrs. During that time she made many long lasting relationships with her Jazzercise buddies!
Mary Ann was spirited, thoughtful, supportive and kind, not only to her family, but to all people she met. She always gave her undivided attention to those she engaged in conversation with. She asked many questions when getting to know you, listened with true patience, showed sincere interest, and carried an amazing memory for all the knowledge she gained! She had a trusting and generous nature about her. Mary Ann always thought of others before herself.
Over many years Mary Ann traveled to virtually every state in the U.S. She also vacationed in Bermuda, The Virgin Islands, and Mexico. She was planning an overseas trip with her husband to Seychelles in 2014. She loved all of the sites she traveled, but her favorites were Las Vegas and Utah.
During her last months Mary Ann struggled with stage 4 cancer. She fought a hard fight and endured a lot of pain. She was blessed to be at home with her family during her battle. She rose with the angels, and joined her loved ones who preceded her in death on November 2, 2013 (her husband's birthday & All Souls Day). She has found peace with her Lord and Savior, is no longer suffering, but missed immensely by her family & friends!
