Mary Nell French, born to Lois Faye Smith Young and Hal Edward Young on October 13, 1923 in Childress Texas passed away January 25, 2016 in Tomball Texas. Mary worked at Sears in the billing department for many years and also worked for a good friend of hers at Space Age Laminating. She was the Greatest Mom and Grandmother! She was very family oriented and was always around for her daughter and grandchildren. She loved to travel with her daughter, Janie, and enjoyed playing the slot machines in Vegas and Louisiana. She was a member of North Central Church in Spring Texas. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Lois and Hal; her husband whom she married on October 18, 1941 in Houston Texas, James Monroe French; brother, Jack Young; sister, Paulene Moore. She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Janie French; brother, Benjamin Ray Young; grandchildren, Troy Wilkie and wife Laura; Darla Wilkie, Derek Wilkie and wife Cretia; great-grandchildren, Blake Jones, Lynsey Pilcik, Meagan Rice and husband Craig, Kelsie Wilkie; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
