Mary Louisa Contreras

She was born in Boling, Texas on January 14, 1932. Mary Louisa Ortiz graduated from Boling/Wharton High School and received an accounting/finance degree from Wharton College and University of Houston.

She married Isidro G. Contreras on December 24, 1952.

Mary L. Contreras has a career in accounting/finance for United-Continental Airlines, Weingarden Realty,

and Shaparo Industries.

She was a member of Heights Business Association. She had a passion for traveling, outdoors, reading, and gardening.

She is survived by her son, Michael D. Contreras and grandchildren, Catalina Amelia Contreras and Diana Isabella Contreras.

A visitation for Mary will be held Tuesday, October 18, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, October 18, 2022 from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A committal service will occur Tuesday, October 18, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038.
