Mary E. Betancourt

Mary E. Betancourt, 72, of Houston, Texas passed away on September 2, 2016. Mary loved spending time with her family and often looked to Casino trips. She enjoyed playing cards and Bingo, and as her family will always remember any game that involved gambling. Mary was perceded in death by her husband of 33 years Encarnacion Betancourt who passed away in 2000. Left behind to cherish her memory are her children Mike Betancourt, Rebecca Betancourt and fiance James Forge Jr.;her grandchildren, Joe Anthony Betancourt,Jessie Macias, Ashley Macias and J'Lyn Betancourt; her siblings, Olga Treviño,Fernando Escobar, Sammy Escobar, Richard Escobar and Susie Escobar. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews and countless other family members and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 4, 2016 from 5-9 PM and Monday, September 5, 2016 from 4-9 PM with a rosary service at 7 PM. On Tuesday, September 6, 2016 visitation will be held from 8-9 AM before the 9 AM funeral service. All service will be held in the chapel of Funeraria Del Angel South located at 6330 Gulf Freeway, Houston,Texas 77023. Graveside services will take place at 11:15 AM on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Forest Lawn Cemetery located at 8701 Almeda Genoa Rd. in Houston,Texas
