Adkisson family our deepest condolences to your family, friends and acquaintances. Mary Ann was a dear friend and coworker to our late Mother Rachel Segovia and our family in whole.  In her tenure we had the pleasure of working alongside her as well. Her demure nature was genuine and true. She was a servant of our Lord and Savior and reflected his peace in everything she did. We held her in great regard as our Mother did in both as a friend and sister in Christ.  Prayers of Peace and comfort from the Segovia Family.

I cannot express the sadness that I feel at learning that Mrs. Adkisson has passed away.  She and Dr. Adkisson took me under their very wide and generous wings when I was a new instructor at the dental school and she kept under her wings until she retired. Mrs. Adkisson was always there to provide a laugh, with the wry sense of humor that I loved.  The world has lost a wonderful soul.  My greatest sympathies go out to Dr. Adkisson and her family.

Very professional and very organized would be the words I would use to describe Mrs Adkisson . I coordinated a few dental outreaches  while she was Director of Clinical services and she was always very helpful in getting her staff to provide the supplies we needed.
 May the Lord comfort her family  at this time of grief and may her gentle soul rest in peace.

Dr. Sam Adkisson, so sorry for your loss.  Thank you and Mary Ann both for all the years of dedication to UTSOD and to my education. Dear Dr. Adkisson and Family,

I am so sorry for your loss.  May God bless you and give you strength during this difficult time. Mrs. Adkisson was one of the kindest persons I have known during my time at UTHSC Dental Branch.  On several occasions, she had to stay late with me and my residents to ensure complex patients were finished and dismissed.  She always showed her support and compassion toward everyone. Residents and patients appreciated her very much.  I also remembered that her favorite color is "old rose".  We are so lucky to get to know her.  She will always be remembered for her kindness and beautiful smiles.

I am so terribly sad about Mary Ann's passing.  It was my honor and privilege to work with her at UT Dental Branch for the many years that we served together in Patient Care at the school.  I learned so much from her over the years, and could always count on her for her kindness, wisdom and compassion.  She has been missed since her retirement, and now especially with her passing.  We will keep her and all of you in our thoughts and prayers, always.

*It’s so hard to believe she’s gone. Breaks my heart. She was a great lady with a big heart. We worked together for so many years. I was The Lead person for Central Sterilization thanks to her Mrs. A. as she was known to us at work. She was my big boss. You will forever be missed. Keith I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom.   She hugged her family with such support and love.   Mary Ann also touched so many lives ensuring great quality and safe care during her nursing career.  She was instrumental in shaping the professional nurse I am today and I will always continue to be grateful for the mentorship and sense of family she provided me in my young years.    Many God continue to comfort you and your family during this time.

Mrs. Adkisson was my boss who became my dear friend which was like family. She was alway very attentive and kind hearted. She always remembered my mother asking how my mother was doing.
I always remembered Mrs. Adkisson’s wedding anniversary because it was also my birthday.
Mrs. Adkisson’s passing fell on 9-6-2023 which is also my work anniversary.  I will never forget you my dear friend.  God Bless your soul.

Mrs. Adkisson was my boss she promoted me to Lead Dental Assistant/ supervisor  she became my dear friend which instantly became like family.  She had a big heart always available if I needed her, always attentive towards my mother by asking how my mother was doing.  I always remembered her wedding anniversary because it is also my birthday.
 Mrs. Adkisson‘s passing fell on 9-6-2023 which is my work anniversary , I will never forget my dear friend Mrs. Adkisson.  God Bless her dear soul.

There are no words to describe what a lovely lady she was.
She was always so kind and caring to me. Never at a loss for words of kindness and always there to lend a hand or to support me and others around her.
She had so much love for her husband and children and extended family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

This is truly a loss. 

I am happy that I had got to know her and be part of her team in Clinical Services, she always had a way of making people feel apart of team.  She was truly a kind soul and I will always have found memories.
