Mary Hernandez Aguilar, age 51, of Huffman Texas, entered eternal rest on Friday, June 28, 2019. Mary was born on September 13, 1967 in Houston, Texas. She graduated from Chester W. Nimitz Senior High School and received her BSN from The University of Texas Arlington. She married the love of her life, Robert Rivas Aguilar, Jr. on November 19, 1988. Mary had a career in nursing and worked in the NICU at Houston Northwest Hospital.
Mary had a passion for family and friends. She expressed her love with a tight embrace and countless kisses on the cheek. If you heard her phrase, “give me hug,” you knew you were special to her. She had that affect on people. If you were lucky, you were caught by “Mary the Paparazzi” and were just about blinded by the flash of her camera phone. She loved her family and friends dearly.
Mary will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Perfecta Rosas Hernandez, husband, Robert Rivas Aguilar, Jr., children, Robert Ruben Aguilar (Ashley Mae Aguilar), Manuel Hernandez Aguilar (Dianna Yasmin Aguilar), Christopher Michael Aguilar, and Alexis Aguilar Vara (Alexandro Segovia Vara. Sr.), and grandchildren, Alexandro Segovia, Vara, Jr., Manuel Ray Aguilar, and Gabriel Robert Aguilar (expected). She will also be remembered by her niece, six nephews, and numerous extended family and dear friends. Mary will join her father, Manuel Hernandez, Jr. in eternal rest.
A visitation for Mary will be held Monday, July 8, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home in the Grand Chapel. A funeral service will begin promptly at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 with burial to follow at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039.
Serving as pallbearers are her sons, Robert Ruben Aguilar, Manuel Hernandez Aguilar, Christopher Michael Aguilar, her nephews, Leon Balderas III, Jacob Michael Balderas, Nickolas Timothy Balderas, and her niece, Isabella Martha Balderas.
