Martha Jane Ross was born October 9, 1953 in Dallas, Texas and died November 23, 2021 at Methodist Hospital in Houston. George and Phyllis Ross adopted her at birth. George and Phyllis would go on to adopt her siblings Mary Lou and George Wayne Jr. As Martha grew she excelled academically and musically with cello, piano and organ. Martha’s education credits include a BA in Music from SMU and MS degrees in Education and Library Science from U of H. Martha is survived by her sister Mary Lou and her brother Wayne, nieces Lauren, Brandi (Adrian) Katie and two great nieces and a great nephew. She is also survived by her beloved cats. Donations would be welcome to animal charities including HSUS and ASPCA.
