Martha Alicia Tristan Gonzalez passed away on January 28th in Houston, TX. Born in Monterrey, Mexico on September 27, 1936. Martha married Margarito Gonzalez on February 24, 1963 in Monterrey and were blessed with 5 children.
In May of 1979 she took a leap of faith to move to the United States along with her husband and children. Leaving everything behind including her immediate family, her customs the only life she knew. Seaking a brighter future for her family.
She was a hairdresser for many years and owned her own hair salon, she loved flowers and created beautiful piñatas for her grandkids. Martha had a very special gift with her hands and she would make paper weaved crystal flowers that looked very natural as if real.
Her greatest desire was for her children to be successful and have a promising future. She was a woman of strong character, determined, advanced for her time. Many times she seemed to be the kind to not show much affection, but it was the opposite not only was she affectionate, she gave herself in every way possible for her children and husband.
She was a faithful and devoted wife, an exemplary mother, an excellent grandmother and a tender Great Grandmother.
Martha Alicia Tristan Gonzalez is survived by her husband; Margarito Gonzalez, Children; Jose M. and Jenny Gonzalez, Jose G. and Alejandra Gonzalez, Juanita and Lester Ingle, Samuel and Mary Gonzalez, Martha and Rey Hernandez. Grandchildren; Jenny Bernardotti, Valerie Cuevas, Karlina Gonzalez, Lynette Gonzalez, Lester Ingle II, Nathaly Ingle, Leslie Gonzalez, Gary Gonzalez, Emily Gonzalez, Eric Hernandez, Clarissa Hernandez, Samantha Hernandez, Michael Hernandez and Great Grandchildren; Adelaide Bernardotti, Zion Bernardotti, Timothy Castillo, Tristan Castillo and Alayah Castillo.
